policy-makers from governmental bodies as well as with private companies
operating in regulated markets or private investors looking for
business opportunities in privatization processes or specific projects.
Such a dual perspective allows BA to provide policy-makers with
realistic and business-wise regulatory and privatization advise.
Our consultants have worked in four different areas
of infrastructure: Power, Water and Sanitation, Telecom and Infrastructure
(or public works). In the four of them, we have worked both for
government agencies and private entities. In countries such as Chile,
we have been able to follow up on the functioning and changes experienced
by regulations and privatizations dating from as much as 20 years
ago, providing us with an insight on how things behave and evolve
in the long run under different regulation schemes and competition
scenarios.
